Our Story

Founded in 2017, the Coppell Community Orchestra is a nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting the community through live orchestral music, education, and outreach. As the only community orchestra serving Coppell and CISD, we are proud to provide musicians and audiences alike with opportunities to experience and engage with the performing arts close to home.

Our concerts combine exceptional music with context and storytelling, exploring how orchestral works connect to history, culture, art, and the world around us. Whether you are attending a performance, volunteering, supporting our mission, or performing alongside us, the CCO is built on the belief that music brings people together.

We are excited to continue growing under the direction of Music Director Mark Scott and invite you to join us in making music for the Coppell community and beyond!
