AUDITION INFORMATION
Here is how we are changing up auditions:

Open audition, vs video/live audition

Interested members need to let us know via board@coppellorchestra.org that they are interested in joining a rehearsal.

The orchestra will plan to have music ready.

There will be a time for new joining members to play an excerpt at the end.

Reasoning: The orchestra is in the process of rebuilding our string section, and wanted to try a different approach.

Yes, you may be qualified to join us!
Maturity and professional demeanor is expected in addition to musicianship. All members must be able to communicate and receive communication directly with board members or director and manage schedules with welcomed parental supervision and involvement but not necessarily parental mediation. An example of the maturity we seek is one who is capable of sending his or her own emails, scheduling his or her own audition with parental consent, receiving and responding to musical critique on a high level and checking the website for important updates. ​​
